It was a cold winter in Moscow, and tensions were high as the Russian military prepared for war. The country had been on the brink of conflict for months, as tensions with neighboring countries continued to escalate.
Sergei, a young soldier in the Russian army, stood at attention as his commanding officer addressed the troops. “Men, we are at war,” the officer announced gravely. “Our country is under attack, and it is up to us to defend it. We will not back down, we will not surrender. We will fight for our nation and our people.”
